Proje alanı Michigan eyaletinin Traverse şehrinde 8. cadde üzerindedir. Cadde boyunca oldukça büyük ağaçlar dikkat çekmektedir. Cadde üzerinde genellikle tek katlı ve müstakil yapılar bulunmaktadır. Ancak apartman mantığıyla inşa edilen 4-5 katlı binaların yeni yapılarla ortaya çıktığı gözlemlenmiştir. Müşteri talebi de bu doğrultuda 48 birimden oluşan konut sistemiydi.     Açık otopark alanı istendiği için bodrum kat tasarlanmamıştır. Bahçe alanı zemin kat dairelerin özel kullanım alanlarına izin verecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Dairelerin tek tip ve iki ayrı oda ile ilave yaşam alanından oluşması beklenmekteydi.           Cephe, müşterinin geleneksel malzemeler ve modern malzemelerin beraber kullanılmasına olan ilgisi doğrultusunda tasarlanmıştır. ​     ''The project site is located on 8th street in Traverse, Michigan. Quite large trees draw attention along the street. There are generally single-storey and detached buildings on the street. However, it has been observed that 4-5 storey buildings built with the logic of apartments have emerged with new structures. In line with this, the customer demand was the housing system consisting of 48 units.     The basement floor was not designed, because an open parking area was requested. The garden area has been designed to allow private use areas of the ground floor apartments. The flats were expected to consist of one type and two separate rooms and additional living space.     The facade was designed in line with the customer's interest in combining traditional and modern materials.''
